review 1: In the book Kiss Crush Collide by Cristina Meredith, Leah, a beautiful, smart, and popular girl had everything she could ever want. She was homecoming queen, class valedictorian, had amazing grades and was part of a rich family. She was the youngest of the three Johnson girls, and she was exactly like her two older sisters. Her oldest sister, Yorke, was getting married to her boyfriend that her family approved of. Her middle sister, Freddie, had a boyfriend who her family also approved off. Leah, being like her sister also had a boyfriend, Shane, that her mom definitely likes. Yorke was a role model for both of her younger sisters Freddie and Leah. Leah is sort of a misfit to her family because she is not the girl that her family wants and hopes for her to be. Leah soon fa... morells off and starts to rebel as she falls for a boy that is completely opposite from her family. Porter, the guy Leah has fallen for is a valet at the Country Club that her family spends most of there time at. Even though she doesn't realize it, Porter affected her and her life in a way that no one expected him to. Leah is a character that I personally didn't like. Leah acted spoiled and made fun of the people who didn't agree with her throughout most of the story. Her boyfriend, Shane, was very disrespectful to Leah. Shane didn't really care about her opinion and was controlling of her. Leah's mom didn't realize that Shane was controlling over Leah and still favorited him. In this book, the characters don't change much from the beginning to the end. I would recommend this book to someone who wants a quick and easy read.
review 2: The book itself is very girly and would not be for by a boy, but the thought of someone who may not always be there for you and being told what to do all your life really turned me onto the book. I can't even imagine my mother telling me who to date and what specific color I have to wear to my sisters wedding. I loved how she would go onto explain her life between the two boys. Duffy was my favorite character and everything about him made me want to not stop reading and to just finish the book. Great read! less
