review 1: 4 out of 5Christine Edwards is my dealer when it comes to getting my fix for Alpha crack with a little dubious consent that leads into a great romance. Her characters are always well rounded and developed. No immature nonsense and over the top drama. I suck down each book with gusto and they would be five star reads for me if I had a little bit more after the climax of the story. Lorraine and I decided that it’s like when you work out. You have a warm up, the hard stuff and then your cool down. I would like to see more of a cool down for my Hero and heroine in Christine’s books. The action and the sex keep you ramped for the majority of the book, and I haven’t got a single complaint, really. I just crave a little bit more of the love fest AFTER the drama is over. But... more regardless, Zoran and Carew were fabulous and their story was very hot. I strongly recommend Captured in Croatia.
review 2: This is the fourth book I've read by Christine Edwards. She continues to amaze me every time. This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat from beginning to end! Call me dense or naive but I did not see the ending coming at all! Christine's writing is so descriptive and so intense, I felt like I was there in the mansion with Carew and Zoran. What a thrill ride!!!!One of my favorite parts about this book is the love that Zoran has for his brother. For being such a bad-ass, he has a vulnerable side that shows deep down he is truly a caring person. That is such an endearing quality that it makes Zoran hotter and sexier than he already is!Can't wait for the next book!!! less
