review 1: I don’t know what to say in this review that I haven’t said before about Christine Edwards and her books. They are everything you want in a smart, sexy book. Today’s market is flooded with books. But finding the ones that are well written and well edited are getting to be few and far between. Christine Edwards takes it up a notch and gives you well researched, well developed characters, well planned storylines and well, hot sex. Nordic Lessons is Mikkel’s story. We met Mikkel in Naughty in Norway and I liked him then. I had no idea he would get his own book. But I am so glad to have gotten more of this sexy dominant man. And Elora was the perfect submissive for him. I still wish Edwards’ books were a bit longer, but that may be my addiction talking. Her writing a... morend her characters keep me wanting more. And more. I enjoy how real everything from characters to setting is in her books. I even Google things as I read so I can see what I should be imagining. I doubt my best daydreams could compete with Mikkel and Elora when they are together, but Google helps keep me accurate while Nordic Lessons and the rest of Edwards’ books keep me entertained and turned on.
review 2: My first thought upon reading this book was lucky Elora!! First of all, she is visiting the beautiful country of Norway, but then she get rescued by a leather wearing hunk of manhood when her car refuses to start and he is an alpha (big time) /dom. Plus he belongs to an MC. Yes please. The native Londoner, Elora's vacation just got a whole lot better. This is a shorter read but it does not skimp on the sexy at all. The love scenes between Elora and the elusive Mikkel are hot enough to burn up the sheets. I really enjoyed both of these characters and to watch as they got to know each other. Mikkel is awesome. He is alpha but has a sweet side to him. He is gentle but at the same time dominant. Elora is sassy and spirited. The chemistry was off the charts. The MC storyline is there but at points takes a backseat to Elora and Mikkel's sub/dom relationship. Definitely the focal point of the book which was all right with me. All in all I really ended up enjoying this read. I would say that if you like any of the following then you will love this book:sexy foreign menleather wearing mendominant/sub readsalpha menscorching love scenesI would give this book a definite recommendation and 4 out of 5 stars. less
