review 1: "Subway" by Christoph was is a great book. A parent and two kids takes the subway just for fun one day.They ride all around New York and try to figure out where they are going. The author did a good job with this book. It is a fun story. I think it will kind of confused little kids if they are reading. It would have to be explained to them especially if they don't know anything about the subway.The illustrations were my favorite about this book. I give the illustrations a 10 out of 10. The people were blank. It was a black them. They were so simple but yet told the story. I like how it was a black background but also a lot of color.

A dad takes two children for an adventure on trains traveling all over the city. While not an informational text, it certainly captures the feel of the subway. I think that kids with exposure to NYC or other trains will appreciate the book the most but really, any child interested in trains and city life will enjoy this fun book. less
