review 1: I think it made me feel more sad than frightened, especially in the second part of the book when the ghosts of the departed meet their beloved again. On the whole the idea of the ice-men was good and the attempt to create a choral novel set in a small town with several characters and none the main one is appreciable, even if the result isn't up to Stephen King who's still the master in such things.
review 2: Snowblind is a quick, suspenseful read but not as good as I hoped. It hooked me from the beginning with the premise of the “unknown” in a blizzard setting and I liked most of the characters. However, the second half of the book fell flat and I found myself skipping ahead to get to the next section. There were just too many character lines for the book
... morebeing so short. Sometimes it felt like sections were too long and others too short. It also ended too abruptly. Overall, it’s a good read if you are looking for something scary and quick. I'll never think of snow the same way ever again! less

Shouldn't have read this as we're heading toward winter. Kind of makes me want to move to Florida.

2,5 stars, it wasn't horribly bad but I wouldn't read it again
