review 1: This is by far one of my favorite YA paranormal books I have read. Trystessa, or "Trystie", has just uprooted from everything she has known because her parents have died and she has to move in wiith their best friends in Connecticut. Used to being the plain jane, she is very surprised to find that she is the shiny new toy at her new school and the object of everyone's affection. We meet Jayson, who although is her neighbor and becomes her best friend, develops stronger feelings then she ever thought imaginable, then there is Kamdyn, gorgeous and unobtainable, or so she thinks until he breaks up with his girlfriend, the most popular girl in school. When she finally gets the guy she wants she thinks all is good in the world until she meets Halo, and then Devlin, oh wait, the... morere's also Corrigan. In this book it is hard to fall in love with just one of these delectable guys and you get to know each one and fall for them all. If only life could be this excitable! LOL I like how Trystie is a strong character, bever falling subject to bullying or dishonesty and always speaking her mind and not taking crap from anyone, even the boys in her life. So it is a little unorhodox to have so many choices to choose from on the dating front but when you see who they all wind up being and what role she winds up playing in the end, it falls into place and begins to make sense. I think everyone should gibe this story a chance, God knows I was sucked in and I can't wait to read the next one!!
review 2: Okay, I'm only on page 82 of this 283 page book and I'm having a very hard time getting past the copious amount of grammatical errors. This author desperately needed someone to edit this book!!! I've lost count of how many times she has used the word "than" when it should have been "then" and vice versa. Also "trader" for "traitor". I'm sorry, but for me, this is just lazy, lazy, lazy writing and quite frankly, it is so bad it is now just making me mad. (Yes, in another life, I should have been a copy editor.) Good for the author for following her dream but GET AN EDITOR!!! Please!!!As far as the story is concerned, I'm probably not far enough into the book to know if I like the story or not. I'll get back on that. less
