review 1: Brilliance, just sheer brilliance. Chuck Wendig delivers once again with his third book of the Miriam Black series, The Comorant. This novel is a wild ride, just like the others, from the first page to the last. Wendig paints his scenery with the hand of an artist with the vulgarity of a sailor. I can't even do this novel justice by writing a review, you really have to experience it yourself to experience the amazing story. It's worth every penny, you won't regret it. Now after reading, Imm eagerly awaiting the fourth book, Thunderbird with the impatience of a gannet.

... moreow. That is until she starts seeing messages to her in her visions of how people are going to die. It ties up some of the story lines from the previous 2 books nicely, my only criticism would be about how there are only so many times a person can read about Miriam being beaten up before it gets a little tiring. But maybe that's my fault for reading all 3 back to back. Or Chuck's fault for writing something that's so damn addictive! I'm going to feel a little lost not reading about Miriam now, although she's not a particularly nice person she kinda grows on you, she's broken, insecure and filthy mouthed but also believable and quirky. I will definitely be watching out for the next one that has been promised - hurry up and write Chuck I need my next fix! less

This was not as good as the first one but still pretty entertaining.

Very cool. As slick as the last one, with more timeline tricks.
