review 1: 5 STARS Under A Georgia Moon was a fun read. Full of witty banter, teasing, romance and good food. Makes me want some southern cooking too especially the desserts. This is a clean read. I enjoyed these characters. I was smiling all through the book. Addie Heywood was talked in taking her two weeks vacation at her Aunt's house in Georgia. It was to be her honeymoon but was called off three weeks before the wedding. Now he married someone else. She is through dating. She is going to take a picture and enter a contest so she can win new camera. Addie lives in Idaho with her 80 year old father. Chase Nichols is not ready for a serious relationship. He is trying to get another job in Nashville. So he can pursue his music career. He is going to try now as a solo career. His band... more two members have families and want to stop. His old girl friend his back in town. She is also the boss's daughter. She wants to get him back. Addie's Aunt thinks Chase would be a perfect match for her niece and gets him to pick her up at airport. Chase his attracted right off to Addie. He asks her to pretend to be his girl friend. It will help them both out. except it is to real. They live so far apart and neither wants to move to each other's place. Long distances are tough. This is a fast paced book. Did not want to put the book down. I was given this ebook to read so I could give a honest review and be part of it's blog tour.
review 2: 3.5 StarsUnder a Georgia Moon was a really cute and sweet romance. It had everything you look for in the genre: two attractive and fun characters, some tension, a little humor, and a little sizzle. It had a plausible story and was an entertaining read overall.I really liked both of the main characters: Addie and Chase. They were fairly well matched. There were a few spots that I wanted them both to have a little more backbone, but they definitely weren't perfect which made them feel more authentic. The romance was definitely forefront in the story, which you'd expect, and was a little cheesy in spots. The story did have a good balance of humor, a little danger, some bittersweet moments, and some things thrown in the way of these two coming together to drive the story. I really liked the involvement of both Addie's and Chase's families because they added a lot to the story.Under a Georgia Moon was fun, clean, sweet, and ended with a happily-every-after. I'm looking forward to seeing what Anderson writes next!Content: There is some mild and brief innuendo, but this was definitely clean.Source: From the tour host, which did not affect my review in any way. less
