review 1: Aren't we all looking for the Happily Ever After, Prince Charming, our Fairytale? Do you have a "Hall Pass" in your marriage? The famous actor, if you came across in real life, you could cheat on your husband with? (Paul Walker & Adam Levine...ahem...) In Perfect Plans, Aby wants more from her life, married young, she's not happy with her mediocre existence. She leaves her life in Canada in search of her HEA. There are so many hilarious quotes from this book, most coming from her best friend Stacey "You realize I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and shit a better argument than that". "Life is too short to fake butter, cheese, or orgasms, honey." "I'm happy for you, crumpet. You're on cloud nine. And, oh look...its penis shaped"I loved reading this as it's definitely somet... morehing I've always wondered about. What would happen if the man you fantasize about on the big screen, was suddenly an option in your life. Is it worth walking into your fantasy when reality lurks right outside the door?
review 2: OMG!! Talk about a whirlwind novel! Once I started I couldn't stop, read consistently until the end! I fell in love with the characters, particularly Aby. Her journey is reminiscent of many and I could relate to her internal struggles. And, let's not forget Alex!...Oh, Mr. Tate, you have thoroughly bewitched me! My new favourite book boyfriend! Swoon! I don't generally write reviews - in fact, created a Goodreads account JUST to share my thoughts! I just HAD to relay how much I loved this book and am impatiently waiting for Take a Bow!! I need to know what happens next! Oh, and the ending to Perfect Plans?...Wow!! Total shock and left me CRAVING more NOW! Well done. Totally a 5 star read! less
