review 1: Ok! What a breath of fresh air this book was because it didn't have the "same old same old" pattern of shy timid girl meets mysterious boy. Gosh I want to throw books far with that crap. Now after that little vent I would like to acknowledge the author on a job well done. I LOVED IT! I was on the hunt for a book that captured me and I wanted to fall into it's rabbit hole and when I'm finished, smile like that crazy cat. The chemistry between Faelynn and Nathaniel....lets just say I'm rooting for them but at the same time Martha's story saddens me.
review 2: Thoroughly enjoyed the writing style even though it did sometimes feel verbose, I actually felt 10x smarter after reading this because of all the big words, big words that I no doubt will be adding to my voc... moreabulary,... the beginning felt a little slow though, but it held my attention enough to follow through with the entire book, and now my interest is beyond peaked, looking forward to the 2nd book! less
