review 1: *Provided this book in exchange for my honest review*Oh my goodness, I don't exactly know what just happened....Wow! I wanted a break from romance/typical story lines and that's exactly what I got! Im not sure if all this was in Ana's mind, (poor Ana), or if it all really happened, I am just blown away! The plot was exciting, and I loved Noah! (And even Norma!) The only issue I had was the insta-love between Ana and Mark. I didn't like Mark at all. I think he was just using Ana and she was so desperate to be loved by someone she didn't see it. I hope there is a follow up to this story; I have GOT to see what happens between Ana and Noah!

... morend My Deliberate Mistake, surpassed my expectations. The main character, Ana, has left her home to travel to Florida to compete for a scholarship at an art school. Ana is truly a tortured soul. She is so mired down in darkness, I was left wondering if she would survive. She has been haunted by the psychotic ghost of her dead twin sister, Julia, for years. She thinks going to art school will keep the malevolent whispers of Julia at bay. She couldn't be more wrong...you never know if the voices are really in Ana's head or if Julia is truly an evil, vengeful spirit. I thought I had it figured out, and then there would be another twist that left me questioning what I thought was happening. The only thing keeping me from giving this book 5 stars is the romantic side of it. I felt like Ana's relationships with Mark and Noah was rushed. However, I do realize that Ana used her sexuality to feel something and to quiet Julia's voice. I do like who Ana ends up with. I think he cared more deeply for her. And, I hope Julia finally gets her HEA. Although, I know that will be quite a struggle. I LOVED the ending. It was a cliffhanger of sorts, but I can't wait to see what happens in the sequel. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to others. I must note that I read a sample of her adult thriller, The Tangerine Killer, as soon as I finished My Deliberate Mistake. I put it on my "Want to Read" list. less
