review 1: Kaget pas pertama baca. ga seperti novel kebanyakan yg saya baca. alurnya terkesan loncat sana-sini, berasa lebih mirip cerpen. memang sih masih runut dan dapat diikuti, tapi berasa aneh aja gitu, novel segini tebel ceritanya loncat dari satu tokoh ke tokoh lainnya. mungkin karena tokohnya lumayan banyak kali ya?tapi konfliknya keliatan kok, terlihat mendetail. membuat saya mengerti mesti ini buku kedua, sedang saya belum membaca yg buku pertama. 2,5 deh ya..*hari libur males bikin review panjang* ^^
review 2: Disappointed. That's what I feel after finishing this book this morning. The basic premise of this story is fresh, but how it turns out in the book was quite 'crunchy' and bland. Characters development are okay, but some traits are hard to believe at. But... more hey, this is a fantasy book, nothing is supposed to be normal.The plots builds excitement and then crushed your hopes with overused story direction, idioms, or diction. :(The first book was promising, but this one:1. Makes me think of p0rn: ...memeras sapi... (p.126)S and H keys are quite far from each other in QWERTY-based keyboard. But yes, R an T is side-by-side (misspelling in p. 189)2. Makes me think whether the author has second thought on the main character's name: ...Orza... (p. 175)As others have written before me, nibble on it when you have time to waste and borrow it from the nearest book rental when you don't have money to waste. less
