review 1: What a Delish book bundle! Red Hot Obsessions is just filled with oodles of pages to keep the passion alive this summer and beyond. Excellent pairing of leading lady authors and amazing books all in one place to keep any book lover of romance glued to their Kindle. I skipped around a bit, reading out of order, and it is riddled with delightful naughty play time. Lily gets Calder's attention when she climbs the gates to his mansion and gets stranded with him due to flooding from heavy rains. Calder isn't hiding his attraction to Lily and she wonders if it will come down to trading her body for his monetary support of their organization. I can't wait to get back to this story. Who could resist reading a story about a curious and playful vixen (Lily), Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome (Calder), a mansion with secret tunnels and a garden maze and an attraction so hot that it melts butter? Not me for sure.Learning Curves by Olivia Rigal, where the students in a french cooking class are cooking up more than french cuisine. The characters include brother and sister (Peter and Mary), a writer (George), newlyweds (Jena and Thomas), a friend of a friend (Charles) and the teacher (Ariane). Peter still recovering from his wife's death a year past, never thought he would look at another woman much less lust after Ariane. George and Mary find themselves irresistibly drawn together. Charles has his eye on the butcher next door who is a good friend and frequent visitor to Ariane's class. And then there is Ariane, herself who is drawn to Peter but doesn't know if she is willing to take a chance on him or let him pass as ships do during the night. Love and lust simmer in the air like spices. Can't Shake You by Molly McLain has me all shook up. Carissa and Josh had a "thing" no one knew about three years ago before he shipped off overseas for the Marines. While he was gone, Carissa started hanging out with a friend and eventually ended up in his bed. Josh is back and doesn't want to break the bro code by pursuing his best friends ex-girlfriend even though that is what he wants most. Carissa has spent the last three years trying to forget Josh and find another man that compares to him - too bad she can't.Sparks fly when they are forced to work together on a project.
