This year my plan was to read five of my unread book in my shelf that I have been wanted to read for a long time and I managed to read four on my vacation and the fifth one I have just recently finished. So this year my plan (for once) worked out which I´m happy about.
The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushell
I was a bit dissapointed in this one. I have seen the tv-series and I really enjoyed it. In the series Carrie comes out like a strong female but in the book she is just a whiny teenager who´s angry and annoying. It was an okey read and I hope the second part is better and I pray to whoever that they haven´t ruined my favourite characters in that one!
One Summer by Nora Roberts
Me and Nora Roberts don´t work at all. I don´t like the way the books are written and that every story is basically the same. But I wanted to read this one because it was about photographers. And all the technical stuff was so fun to read about and how the two characters had different views on how a perfect picture should be but then again it was like every other Nora Roberts book so naaah not a favourite.
The Trouble With Honor by Julia London
I just love Julia London! I have only read one book before this one and I totally fell inlove with her way of writing. This book is set around a bet but when the attention is set on the main character instead of another women there is many heated scenes that follows. How can you not love a book thats about strong females and hot secret meetings in a historical world?
All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
This book I bought because of the hype and it has been in my shelf for way to long. Now I have finished it and I just loved it. I was not expecting some of the things to happen and for the second time in my life I have actually cried to a book. I finished this book in a day and I don´t want to spoil anything…just read it, you won´t forget it!
I´m trying to figure out if I´m gonna challange myself to a Fall read as well but I haven´t decided yet. What do you guys think? This summer challange thingy did work so maybe a fall one would to?
