review 1: The ending was too abrupt, her reasons for lying to him too flimsy to hold up all the way to the end, and his big secret too easy to figure out. Taking all that into account, it's not a bad book. I liked Myriah and I liked Kit for the most part. I loved Billy and Myriah's friendship with him. This book really could have used an epilogue, and then it wouldn't have felt like such a let down at the end. As I said, it's not a bad story, just not as good as it could have been.
review 2: Not my normal type of book as I tend to read mostly paranormal however every so often I enjoy the simply pleasures in life. This book was a wonderful read about the world of the London Ton. There was enough danger, secrets and emotions to keep it interesting for me. However the en... moreding just didn't have the big bang I was hoping for. I really wanted Roland to have a hard time but all and all I enjoyed the read. less
