review 1: I want to give this a higher rating because I really liked the story and everything I read. I also liked that, where there could have been melodramatic miscommunications and misunderstandings, the heroine spoke her mind clearly and concisely and did what she had to do without hemming and hawing about it. The problem I had is that it read more like a second draft rather than a finished novel. The plot was thought out but the characters were only just beginning to be. I believed what the characters felt but I didn't feel it with them; the details just weren't there. I would still try another book by this author but in the end I'd just like to read a fuller version of this one.

... moredentally opened this book on my Kindle and decided to go ahead and read it. I remember description from when I got it for free in December, so I knew it would be great. Within the first 15 pages I read an awesome line. Favorite line I've read in a while: He would be a good husband, and if a pretty ankle turned his head, he would be discreet...I didn't know how it would go, but I really enjoyed how the author made everything come together. I do believe that the ending was kind of fast, would have liked to have a little more story at the end. My only complaint. less
