review 1: My boyfriend is a huge, huge, HUGE Coheed and Cambria fan. The only reason I picked up this book is because he asked me to read it. I did it to oblige him and was pretty skeptical since this is not the type of book I would normally read. However, I was drawn in almost from the first page. I couldn't stop reading it; in fact, I took this book every where with me so that I could read whenever I had an extra 5 minutes. I guess I need to trust my boyfriend's recommendations from here on out. =)
review 2: 4.5 stars. Awesome book! Really impressed with it, especially considering it's the brainchild of Co&Ca's lead singer, Claudio. It's a great stand-alone if you like sci-fi/fantasy, whether you know about Co&Ca's songs or not. And definitely a must for any Coheed fan... mores! I was really invested in the characters and found myself thinking about them in my spare time- great sign of a worthy book. :) And it's a fast read! less
