review 1: I couldn't put this book down. It was an easy read, flowed really well, and had tons of suspense. I really liked how the character interacted and it had an amazing twist. I did not expect the twist that happened, maybe with a second read through I would get more of the foreshadowing hints that would have set up the twist, but it was jaw dropping. I think the book was really well done. The story, although science fictional was very believable, the worlds rules were easy to follow.I would suggest this book to anyone who likes a thrilling read, about a girl that learns she will save the world. I personally don't like scifi fictions, but it was hard to walk awaay from this book. The action started and really didn't lull at all. I think the character development was also done r... moreeally well. SPOILERS:: Nina is the best friend anyone could get. I can't believe how she sticks around, but the author makes you believe she would do it. Also, Reese oh how I love Reese. He is amazing at supporting Sav.
review 2: The premise was unique and interesting. The main character behaved much more rationally than some teen heroines I could name. And still... this book was a little unbelievable at times. The romance in particular seemed forced, like they'd both read in the script that they had to fall for each other. For reasons which make sense later on in the book, this is somewhat believable on his side, but it still never really fit for Savannah. She seemed like she should've at least had some reservations. Oh well. Everything else was great. I don't want to give too much away about the antagonists, but I will say that they are described in a thoroughly unique and yet totally believable way. Very cool. less
