review 1: One of my favorite books of the year. Mr. Hill was the Secret Service agent assigned to Jackie and the children from the election until one year after the President's death. The planning of the Secret Secret are so intricate, and to keep up with someone as vivacious as Mrs. Kennedy had to have been a huge chore. His book opened my eyes to the many personal sacrifices the agents must make. This book was written with the greatest respect towards the Kennedy family, and is one of those books that I hated to see end. I would read anything that Clint Hill writes.

... moretter to Hill's days on the security detail of the late Mrs. Kennedy and her children. Touching mostly on his fond memories of those days and only lightly bringing up some of the rougher times, the weight of the book takes place late as Mr. Hill attempts to come to grips with the guilt of being unable to stop one of the worst tragedies in the history of this country. Hill admits that he was reluctant to tell his story...thankfully he overcame that. less
