review 1: I watched the anime before I read the manga and it's absolutely amazing! I love it so much!It's the classic story with Romeo and Juliet but it's overtaken by all the things I love; forbidden love, adventure, lots of kick-ass characters, there's a war and Juliet actually does something (!!!) and it makes it sooo much better!William Shakespeare is also a character in both the anime and manga and he's absolutely fabulous!There are some small changes between the anime and the manga, but it's not an issue, both of them are awesome in their own special way.I actually recommend the anime as well, because this need some more recognition and it made me watch anime.
review 2: A truly unique twist to the story of Romeo and Juliet. I'm more of a 3.5 star on this one though... more. The art is AMAZING, but some of the action drawings are simply too busy for the frame. It's difficult to see what's going on in some of the pictures and I found myself reading other panels to try and figure out what had happened and completely ignoring that panel. Other than that the ending is a unique change to the ending, and probably not what you're expecting when you begin reading. But this IS Romeo and Juliet, and this IS based on the anime, rather than the anime being based on the manga. I've yet to see the anime, so I can't tell you how accurate it is. less
