review 1: I really liked both characters: Benjamin was adorable, and Frank was surprisingly refreshing (see Ryan's review). I ended up liking the dad a lot more than I thought I would in the beginning - we eventually see that he truly wants the best for his kids even though he seems quite strict and overbearing at first. The ending was a little rushed, and I would have liked to know more about what happened after everything was revealed, but this was a really cute story overall.
review 2: Excellent short story with very appealing characters and a sweet relationship that will have you cheering for them to get together. Frank is a complex guy. He's trying to figure out what he wants from life and getting too much pressure from his well meaning but over-achieving family.... more He meets Benjamin by chance is intrigued and amused by his geeky and blunt personality. Frank's attempts to win Benjamin over are unsuccessful but later he has need of Benjamin's help to get his family off his back. But things are a lot more complicated than they appear... less
