review 1: I think this book was a little too rushed. A lot of the scenes come off as really choppy, and not flowing well together. It was sometimes hard to follow where the characters were in the book because things just kept leaping forward. I had to backtrack a couple of times just to make sure of what was going on with the plot. I will say that this book did have great potential. I like the idea of a wayward wolf king having to eventually rule his kingdom in order to clear out corruption. I hope that should the author continue the series, she flushes out her character and plot a bit more and works on cohesion. Then this series can be awesomesocks.
review 2: I was fortunate to win this book from a giveaway on Goodreads. I was so excited to win the giveaway, but honestl... morey I would have rushed out to buy it if I hadn't. OMG! I LOVE this story! I could not put this book down and now i'm craving more. Fortunately Coral has 2 short stories to add to the storyline. Great cast of strong characters. For me this book was a perfect balance between violence & sex, myth & modern world... just a perfect adult werewolf story. I can't wait to read more and hope there's another full novel in the future. less
