review 1: Bump from 3.5 to 4 stars cause the prompt was mine : )After reading some reviews, I do agree that the prompt was too specific…..totally my fault. I was being selfish and wanted a story written about my life and a friend who needed a boyfriend! But I think the author did a great job of going along with the prompt and fitting everything in it. I'm sure it was difficult. The only real issue I had with the book was that the NICU was not accurately portrayed…but that is just my pet peeve since I'm an old NICU Nurse.Overall good job with the prompt! Too bad my RL friends didn't get the same love connection! review 2: Super sweet, shy guy and Huggy Bear meet. I liked the concept and Jordan's background. The tone was clinical even in the parts that weren't medi... morecal and made me feel separated from the characters. Plus, Martin--Creepy McCreepster--that is so not cool. Not cool and definitely not attractive. Whiplash fast turnaround as Jordan's adrenaline goes from flight to fuck caught me off guard. Whoa... Fireball. I liked how Martin and Jordan interacted, but there were a couple leaps that hindered my getting behind it. Overall, it felt a little rushed in terms of the characters' relationship development. less
