review 1: This was a Classic Kiwi read Q1: favourite quote and why?My favourite quote would have to be "He was a cranky stinky-dinky lanky honky-tonky winky wonky donkey"which is at the very end of the bookthis book is a book with very little words but great meaning So baisicall a donkey has an adventure including him being angry, being winky and wonky, and being dinky, lanky and EVEN stinky.Great read i would recommend this to children 3-7 years old.
review 2: For some reason I'd long thought that Craig Smith was Australian, turns out that he's a Kiwi, who grew up in Queenstown as it turns out. Not that that really matters, but still interesting to put it right. The Wonky Donkey is choc full of silly words that preschoolers will love. And there's some gags in there for ... morethe grown up who will be forced to read this fun book over and over again- although my library copy came with a CD, so overworked, overwrought parents can have a bit of a break. It's more fun to read it with your youngster yourself I always thought. less
