review 1: A sweet story of love, forgiveness, and second chances. I'm enjoying this series. The Kelly brothers have not disappointed so far. Not only do I love a second chance romance, but I love a sexy athlete. Ben was definitely sexy and a bigshot hockey player. He has a huge heart and has known that Hailey was the one that got away from their one night together, nine years ago. But he's got his work cut out for him for a second chance with Hailey. This was a quick, enjoyable read. The only thing missing was an epilogue. 4 stars
review 2: Hailey meets Ben one night after a hockey game and spends a one night fling with him. It changes the rest of her life. Nine years later Ben returns to this one sport town recovering from a game ending injury. Only to recognize her as ... morethe one who got away. Her side is she had a baby and her son has since passed away from a brain tumor. She tried to contact him for help but a pr manager stood in her way. So a lot of hurt on her side, and he has no idea he had a child and lost. This is a great story and I read right through, and totally loved it. It has a sour note because a child was lost and there can be no happy ending for him. I still loved it though and thank the author for sending this book to me. This is a goodreads first win, and I hope you enjoy it too. less
