review 1: It was definitely suspenseful, kept me on the edge. There were a lot of twists that made it entertaining even though I figured out who helped Jon soon into the book. The romance could have been better. I bought each of them as characters but I didn't connect to their need for each other. I think they could have spent more time having a dialogue about the past and present than those times alone being clouded by lust. Their relationship lacked depth.
review 2: I continue to enjoy this series. The mystery and action are good. The couples are sexy. I did guess the killer in this one so it must not have been too hard cuz usually I can't. The couple got together quickly but they had been together 5 years ago so that was ok. There was a lot happening and so I ... morethought their emotions were understandable, not too far out there. Being in a crazy situation, hunting a serial killer, we didn't get to see much of them as normal folks, only in a high stress mode. less
