review 1: Loved this book. I have read some reviews that say "Predictable but good read" I'm sorry, it wasn't predictable to me. I did not see the two major twists (which would be spoilers so I will not say) coming. From the beginning, the story flowed and took me along with it. I was right there along with Cammy when Race was a jerk and had his mid-life crisis. And even through the plot twists, my heart felt for the all the characters in the story. Great book - can't wait to read the sequel.

The story covers Cammy’s life on the island and the people she meets, with the middle section of the book reading somewhat like a diary of daily events. There’s a surprise ending though that rounds up the story very nicely indeed. less
