About this author
Dan Brown – an American writer, was born in New Hampshire, United States, in 1964. Since childhood he was fond of puzzles, anagrams and crosswords. He spent a lot of time breaking his head over different riddles. He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and Amherst College. Also he spent a year, studying art history course at the University of Seville.

... morecompany called Dalliance. In 1993 Dan Brown started to teach English at school and gave Spanish classes. At this time began his writing career after reading Sidney Sheldon's novel The Doomsday Conspiracy. He was too inspired by the book, so decided to write his own thriller.

In 1997 he abandoned his full-time job to become a writer. His famous books are Digital Fortress, Angels & Demons, Deception Point, The Da Vinci Code, etc. One interesting feature unites all his books – the main character Robert Langton.
