review 1: Candid, genuine, humorous memoir. Interesting to read about Dan's experience in the competitive news business and what goes on behind the scenes. He makes meditation sound doable and I like how it was coming from someone who's not all touchy-feely. The author is self-centered and neurotic (which he admits) - as a result, some of his writing comes off as a bit sanctimonious and self-aggrandizing. 3.5 stars.
