review 1: I thought that the story was realistic, the author made the story really interesting on how he grasped the life of the characters in the story such as Neil, Bree, Eric, Wesley and more... But anyway I loved the part on how every time someone in the group doubts on what happened in room 103,Neil would always be the first person to speak up and convince them to go further in the investigation. I was hoping that there was going to be a twist of in the end of the book because every supernatural/thriller book I read the character that everyone fears about is too obvious. Although in this case it really was a big twist, Nurse Janet was a totally different person that I thought she was.The story really lands in the mystery section because through out the story there were hints he... morere and there, so I just kind of had to piece it together in end. The end was more of a resolution since I kind of guessed who was Nurse Janet all along and why was her case so popular along town but no one bothered to investigate?
review 2: It took me a while to finish this book just because it was unappealing to me as how they presented the characters and setting. In the end though, I was glad that I finished it. I would give a five star rating but, it was boring and slow in the beginning. Luckily, it picks up pace during the final chapters. I would recommend this to anyone that is interested in the paranormal genre even though it takes little parts from every genre. less
