review 1: VERY interesting insider book into Israeli espionage. Most interesting to me is that our hollywood producers had a different take on Munich Games/Murders than what the facts and insiders tell. The wool is truly over American eyes. Highly recommended if Espionage/Israeli History/Terrorism subject interests you. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars? The narration is a little dry and I did wander in some sections. It reminded me of a Tom Clancy, where you get SO much extra detail that you don't really need. That might be a female take though, I think Men usually like that extra detail.
review 2: Wow! This is about as close as you are going to get to a history of Israeli spying (including the Mossad, Shin Bet and Amman). Tells the truth about not only their suc
... morecesses but also embarrassing failures. Regardless, the Israeli's are probably the most skillful spies ever. The look forward in the last chapter is very sobering when you consider the implications for all of us. The book is a bit long and perhaps some of the material could have been left out but I respect the author for wanting to reveal the entire history. Also, the book jumps around quite a bit making it difficult to get a sense of the actual timeline. less

Great book. If you haven't read about any of Israel's covert-ops so far, this book is for you.
