review 1: I wasn't feeling this book too much. It had a lot of good qualities, but some things just overshadowed them. What's good about this book?1) Mark (hero) is very protective and alpha over Sarah (heroine).2) Danger story line. I love the whole stalker thing.What made me go "ehhhh"?1) Sarah was a runner. This wasn't the first time trouble came for her and she is good at packing up and getting out of dodge. She continued this through the book, even more toward the end when she declared her love for Mark and said she wouldn't run. I really felt bad for Mark. It made me doubt Sarah as a genuine character that would stay with Mark. I could see her easily packing up and hitting the road if things got too tough in the future.2) The sex was just so-so. There wasn't really steamy bui... moreld up (to me). Then the actual sex was kind of bland. Overall just okay.
review 2: In the spirit of full disclosure I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.Wow! It was easy to connect with Sarah right away. She's brave, tough, yet vulnerable.Mark was amazing and the epitome of a true hero. His unending paitence and gentleness with Sarah was inspiring. The story touched me deeply for reasons I won't divulge here.Sarah's situation was heartbreaking watching her go through all of that, especially after everything she's already survived. Many unexpected twists that only enriched the story. I do thing the repeated mistakes Sarah made in running from her problems rather than facing them was overdone and drawn out. Otherwise I enjoyed the story. less
