review 1: An 87 year old former WWII POW and cop goes hunting Nazi gold and solving multiple murders with his grandson's help. There were a number of theme touched on in this book: the indignities of aging, family ties, loss,being out of touch with technology, etc. The main character is a grumpy and sarcastic old Jewish man, which I loved, but I didn't love the unnecessarily large amount of foul language in the book.

Basically we are talking about an 88 year old exhomicide detective and his rather naïve grandson, going on a hunt for hidden Nazi gold. lots of bodies along the way.
