review 1: Some parts were interesting, especially the different classes of Jedi where I learned more about Yoda's specialty. Some of the "inner thoughts" of the "Jedi who owned the manuel" were fun to read too.Overall though, I got really bored. But that's just me, other fans of Star Wars would probably (apparently) love it.It was a cool idea, just the way it was written didn't really GRAB me. :/
review 2: The margin notes remind me of Harry Potter's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Quite amusing, and makes you wonder how several generations of Jedis shared one heavily-doodled book.I particularly loved the lightsaber-centered and Marks of Contact chapters. As a very late adopter fan of Star Wars, I actually found this book quite absorbing.
