review 1: Although not one of my favorite reads of all time, also not bad...a pretty good time. Poignant and a bit romantic, though not overboard. I could see some overtones of Great Gatsby themes (perhaps since I just read it), but I don't feel that aspect was overdone. A nice rendition of sisterhood, though I'm uncertain how that would really look, given that I am an only child! I enjoyed this little read! Not too heavy, not too light!!
review 2: Predictable. I forced myself to finish it since I started it, but I didn't like it. Not my style. The author was overly descriptive as if to make the book longer for some reason, she threw in tidbits about things that didn't have anything to do with the story in the middle of another thought, and she repeated the important bit
... mores over and over which made the book that much more predictable. Not so bad that I had to put it down, but not something I would recommend. less

I like this book but it was a little slow, the second half was better!

Underwhelming...no character investment.

Warm and fuzzy chick-lit. Predictable.
