review 1: What a fun book with such a cute sense of humor! It was refreshing to read about a spit-fire Princess who danced to the beat of her own drum. I loved how the young prince wanted to give her something that she would appreciate as much as her garden; Princess Amanita saw the gift, roses, differently than anyone else would. My favorite part in the story had to have been when she stuck the roses upside down in a vase thinking that the thorns were more beautiful than the flowers.
review 2: My inner child resurfaced through Princess Amanita. Princess Amanita is not your typical princess or girl. She is not sugar and spice and everything nice. Girls are not always girly. Princess Amanita is not a tomboy, although she loves being snips and snails and puppy dog tails. P... morerincess Amanita, along with her cat, has a pet scorpion. God bless a child who stands her own ground. This book teaches girls, it's what's inside that counts most. Be who you are inside and people will love you for you. I plan to pass this "not so fairy" tale along to my niece. I recommend Dangerously Ever After for all ages. less
