review 1: I was recommended this book by my mother in law, and I am glad that I took the time to read it.This book is fun but real. The author Dave Nasser shares his and his wife's story about Giant George, the world's tallest dog. It starts before they even adopt him, and finishes after he wins the title of world's tallest dog. There are some very sweet and funny moments, but also some heart wrenching and sad ones too.I don't want to give much away, but I think Giant George is a great read and I would definitely recommend this book to any pet lover. I don't have a dog, but if we ever get one I hope we can find one as sweet as George.
review 2: This was a great little memoir book about the World's Tallest Dog Ever (at least as of 2012), written by his dog dad. Dave N
... moreasser has written George, his characteristics and reactions and emotions, in such an eloquent, well-versed way that any dog owner can see their own dog in him. Additionally, Nasser shared some incredibly touching and heartbreaking stories of his personal life, speaking to the loss that he and his wife went through when they lost a baby in utero. Overall, a quick, well-written story about the World's Tallest Dog and his "parents." less

It was okay. Some parts were interesting; some were not. I've liked other animal stories more.
