review 1: Very absorbing book, though I thought he was going to do more with all the Kabbalism and numerology and so on, but in the end it devolved into a kind of very-pat "just say no to anti-Semitism" message. But it should be worth my checking out more of Albahari's stuff. I almost considered not mentioning that the entire book has not a single quotation mark or paragraph break, since that might deter many potential readers. But you get used to it.
review 2: Not for the faint of heart or brain, this book is one long stream-of-consciousness paragraph requiring significant effort on the part of the reader.
