review 1: This is the final book in the series and it doesn't disappoint. This was one of the series I will remember to recommend to others. It has everything you need in a good fantasy series. The world building is extraordinary. The characters real and full. And not just the main few. Mr. Durham has fleshed out everyone you seem to come into contact with.. There are no bit parts in this book. The plots are exquisite in their complexity and yet they never leave you confused, just yearning for more.
review 2: Not much to say except that this book is a good conclusion to the series. This book and the first one seem most memorable to me. Anyway, everything in terms of plot turned out for better or for worse. Dariel with his ventures in the Other Lands was interesting to re
... moread about. Mena, my favorite always was engaging as well. Corinn actually redeemed herself compared to how she was in the 2nd book and Aliver seemed like the only one that didnt feel well developed to me. This book would have been great and bordering excellent except for one thing. The transition with Corinn being good and evil seemed forced and rushed and I felt it didnt make much sense in how it happened. Overall, the book was enjoyable, had a great ending and is definitely a keeper along with the rest of the series. 4/5. less
