review 1: The Bone Tiki was a very interesting book and very unique characters the book has a little bit of a boring start to the story with the funreal and Matiu being bored saying that all the books had been read all the video games had been played out all the cd's had been played over and over again but yeah after that the intro and the middle of the story its gets better and better and its just so eye catching and heaps of action and sometimes leves you doubt. Bone tiki is such a good story about fantasy and travel around nz. i rated this book 4stars.
review 2: I loved this book it has got me back into reading for fun and I loved this books mix of reality and fantasy... Mat is going through a normal teen age life full of dads consumed with work, his grandmas funeral
... more... This book is a book that I hated to put done it suspenseful and intriguing full of myths, ghost lands along with normal life problems. It keeps you questioning all the way through as well as a satisfying ending.. But dont stop there as there is a sequel 'The Taniwha's tear' I would recommend this book to any one who loves mystery and is a deep reading less
