review 1: Kelly Maines' daughter was kidnapped several years ago when she was only a few months old and Kelly has never stopped searching for her. When her search leads her to Natalie and her guardian, Jack, she begins wondering if she's found her long lost daughter. As she spends time with Jack and Natalie, she comes to love them dearly and hopes that one day, she'll be able to find out whether Nattie is her own biological daughter or not. I really enjoyed this story. It kept me turning pages to find out what happens next. I just loved the ending to this story and how everything worked out. I ached for Kelly's never ending search for her daughter and I really loved Jack's relationship with his orphaned niece. He always put her first in his life and I could definitely tell that he l... moreoved her and desired the very best for her.Again, I really loved this book. It is definitely on my favorite's list!
review 2: The pairing of husband and wife team David and Beverly Lewis results in a thoughtful and intriguing read. When the story began, the authors had me second-guessing the main character's intentions. I grew to care about her and hoped that she would find her child. Along the way, she meets Jack and Nattie who adopt her into their family but is that enough? Can she put aside the search for her missing daughter or miss out on a love that she's always wanted? less

Even though the writing was nice I couldn't get myself to like the main characters.
