review 1: Here is a book, I wish had been around when my kids were younger. This book, in a very fun way, explains lice to kids. The book is well represented and wonderfully illustrated. Not at all scary or misrepresentative this takes the subject, explains it well. I had to answer so many questions when my kids got lice when they were younger. If I could just read this book it would have been so much better.
review 2: Luckily I have never had the unpleasant experience of ever having head lice but I know that I will be dealing with a ton of little ones with it once I am teaching grade school in a few years. Bugs in My Hair is a comical, cute and educational depiction of what it is like to be a kid with lice. This book explains the different places you can catch it... more and even a little information on how to treat it. I even caught myself laughing out loud a bit while reading this one. A great book to have in your classroom, for sure! less
