review 1: Ben is a boy who spends his friday with his granny because his parents go dancing friday night. But he is very bored because its always the same. But one night he discovers his grandmothers deep big secret. His granny is a master thief. So Ben decides to join her. This book, again is another great funny yet heartwarming book by David Walliams. This book is tells the world that old people are not boring and old people has a life and they can be exciting. The end is rather sad but it is still humorous. Also queen herself appears in this book.
review 2: Yo Yo Yo. I thought there was rapping in this book. This is the first book I have read of David Walliams.Boy, was I wrong! What follows is a incredible story of bonding between a boy and his grandmother. I found it... more weird how for so many years your grandmother could be boring, and then one day you find out she lead a double life. Then the trouble and tricks they both get up to - funny! Definitely out there, and plays on the child's imanination. It is so funny! I love how he turns something ordinary and boring - into something fun and cool. At first, I thought there would be lots of rapping and dancing in this book. But what entails is a memorable story between a boy and his grandmother. I would recommend this book to people that like dork diaries, or diary of a wimpy kid. less
