review 1: The words from this novel wrapped around me like a warm blanket. It was poetic in an unconventional way. The story itself was also unconventional, but has deep beauty. The lessons taught and learned are rungs above basic. I never expected to be emotionally broken, so imagine my surprise just a few pages from the finish line when my tears burned down my cheeks. This is both an ugly and a gorgeous story. All I can say is that I absolutely adored it.
review 2: Probably one of the most boring books I've read in newer time. The book has no turning point, nor plot. We get no personal relationship to any of the characters, and the surroundings are described poorly. I've been having a hard time understanding the author's purpose of writing this book, and what he had in
... more mind when thinking about what his readers would get out of it. Generally, a book filled with nothing but an empty story which leaves you with the feeling of having wasted time reading it. less

incredibly real, brilliant read. One of my favourite of the year so far.

Revolting at times, strangely beautiful at others. Touching.

I wanted to yell at every character: DO SOMETHING!
