review 1: This book was definitely a quick read with a happy ending but other than some insane chemistry between Stone and Ember (super weird names, by the way) it don't have much going for it. I never understood the relationship between all the characters and there were too many characters for such a short book. Maybe reading the Broken series first would have been helpful. Time also sped by pretty quickly and seemed like there was a lot of plot development missing.
review 2: I liked that this book was not overly dramatic and depressing. The book is sweet and sassy from start to finish. I thought Stone and Ember were really well developed characters and that their joining together was funny and honest. Dallas and Baker do their best to prevent Stone and Ember's budding ... moreromance and are good secondary characters. The book was an easy story to follow and I enjoyed it. The dialogue between the characters was definitely realistic and tangible. I look forward to seeing where the story goes next. less
