review 1: Okay.. umm..it started out okay..but as soon as it started it ended. I dont normally mind reading a good quickie. But if i'm going to get a quickie I want to get satisfied. This isn't even a cliffhanger..this is just a disappointment. it is more like a sneak peek at a new book rather than reading the book itself. So in hopes to get some satisfaction I purchased the 2nd installation of this series and I'll go ahead and post the review for that here too. It was a little better. A little more story in it I guess..but it appears it was just rushed, thrown together to meet a quota, just publishing pieces of the story at a time. It's not like I am used to. Most series flow fairly well and have good background information. You find out very little here in this book but for the ... moremain alpha Rust, there is not much from his view. What you do find out is vague and doesn't make sense and isn't presented until the end of book 2. Some of the writing is very poor to my taste and not very well described. I wouldn't say amateurish but it could've been I don't even know a word to use.. I got tired of hearing her parts describe as "hole" yes hole. Her hole was dripping (really?) And there was a part in there that could've been omitted. It was when she was in the limo "Her lack of underwear was beginning to tell on her. Her p**** - under her short skirt-was leaking" ..ugg it was just displaced and an afterthought or something..and leaking?? What is she a faucet? I could have done without knowing such useless information. . If it were decribed better perhaps it wouldnt have been so blah to me. This was all from her (Kate) perspective A supposedly shy, low self-esteem, over weight woman. I would understand if It were from the males dialogue with descriptions such as this..But to each his own I suppose. I would have written it more passionately more sexy I guess..." I could feel myself moisten in between my thighs as they rubbed together. I was growing wetter just thinking about him and what he was going to do to me "....or just something like that...but again..whatever floats your boat.On a small plus side, I did find myself liking Rust at the very end of Book 2. Only becuase he began treating her a little better and not like a piece of meat. All in all though, I'm not too thrilled about this series and I doubt I will be interested to purchase the third installment when it is released.
review 2: So if you make it with a shifter are you into beastiality?? Ponders that question as we move on. Things known to be taboo?? A Professor bumpin uglies with his student. The Professor hot and sex on a stick Rust a clipped personality, sexy but aloof in his classroom. Kate a student and the only reason she is in the is class, is before of the yummy Professor that doesnt give her or any of his students the time of day, except in class.The Club Kate sneaks into, as she stalks the Professor is something she has no clue about. But she will be learning fast and as she goes. When she is pushed more than what she is ready for, she is saved by a beautiful tiger. (The Club is full of shifters, some in animal form some human)Back in class the Professor's mask of indifference is firmly in place. What is one to do about that? Read and find out. Enjoy less
