review 1: This was a completely unbelievable book and it was ok to read. To think that 2 people would be reconnected on a cruise is one thing, but later stranded on an island then abducted by drug smugglers is another. The whole part about leaving the girl that was paralyzed due to an unfortunate accident was really sad, but I find it hard to believe that she was ok with the new relationship between her ex-bff and the rock star. Had the story not included the drug cartel, it may have been more believable.
review 2: I am reading this in the Rock Star Romance boxed set of 12 stories that is 99 cents for a limited time. This is a great story with a twist. What happens when you get caught and charged with D.U.I.? You are sentenced to do community service work on a cruise shi
... morep. This is what happens to Kurt Taylor, lead singer of the rock band Red Velvet. Rebecca Hall is an assistant at a senior care home and the seniors are on a cruise ship. Rebecca and Kurt have a history and they hate each other. Can they stay away from each other with no where to run? When Rebecca is swept off the ship by the wind of a freakish storm, Kurt jumps in to save her. And remembers after he jumps that he can't swim. They end up on a deserted island hoping they are rescued. They are alone except for the monkey, at least that is what they thought. The twist was not what I was expecting but it made the story better for me. great job Dawn Steele. less

I really liked this book, but felt it ended very abruptly. I really wanted to read more.

This was a good story but the only thing that let it down was the errors in the writing
