review 1: I'm not going to rate it as I do understand that the Authors that work with Lovers Landscape do so because they want to, because they care about MM and want to be part of the movement to educate those that are still in the dark. That said... I'm not a fan of Historical drama, and thought some part did hold my attention more than others... the story itself did not call to me. With such a beautiful prompt, I expected more and then to be disappointed with not only the final story but the way it was executed. I would have been better to have chosen a single scene... something profound in their story... not rushed from A - Z and get it all in.
review 2: Sneaking up to 3.5 starsFor a very short story this one covers a lot of ground. Starting with the first meeting b
... moreetween Joe and Buck during training as B17 crew members in 1943, through their separation and the news that Joe is MIA. It introduces well Joe's understanding family, and particularly Darla, his older sister. Whilst obviously for it to have a HEA Joe must return the story doesn't just stop there but the author gives a potted history of the family highlights until modern day. less

Sweet. A welcome step back from the intensity of what I read earlier tonight.
