review 1: Ooooh I loved this! It was such a lovely little sojourn back into the world of Julia and the lovely lovely Brisbane (sigh). Obvs this wasn't long enough, but then Deanna could write a book the size of War and Peace and I don't think I would be completely satisfied. Such a shame that this is the last we'll ever have of the Julia Grey novels, but cannot wait to see what comes next from the devious mind of this fabulous author.
review 2: A nice addition to the Lady Julia series Bonfire Night gives both Lady Julia Grey and her detective husband, Nicholas Brisbane, a small vacation and a interesting mystery to solve. Look for a lot of misdirection when all the ghost appear. Julia and Brisbane catch on really fast about the ghosts but take a while to realize the re... moreal reason for what is happening. In the end Nicholas gets a very nice and unexpected Christmas present. less
