review 1: Great amazing book. The main character is quite a strong woman. Also sorry, but my ship sailed! Yah! Also anyone with the name Max is awesome, so Max in this book you were great. From Bethanne's children, i liked Andrew more, I mean Annie forgave her father for everything, even after he had destroyed everything, but Andrew he remained strong throughout.Also Ruth, Ruth,Ruth what do I say. you were one awesome Granny.
review 2: I love Debbie Macomber books as a rule, and this one is no exception. Although I've hopped and skipped through the series as I can find each book, I already knew Bethanne and was familiar with her story. The drawback to hopping and skipping though, is the chance of "spoilers", or learning bits about other characters that are in the series... more. But other than that, the story is engaging and fun, yet serious at times. I enjoy books that draw me into the characters' lives, and this was no exception. less
